Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue is very interested in hearing from our customers. We have developed three (3) surveys at SurveyMonkey, in three different categories (Code Enforcement/Fire Prevention; Public Education and Fire/Ambulance Response). We would very much appreciate your response if you have used our emergency services or we’ve provided other services to you. Your responses are very important to helping us improve. As of midnight, July 1st, there is NO outdoor burning allowed within Wasco County to include all areas within Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue. Please do not burn. Also be advised that if you do burn and you start a fire, you can be held liable to the extent allowed by law.

Budget Committee Meeting

There will be a budget committee meeting for Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue on Friday, June 9, 2017. This is a public meeting and the public is invited to attend. The budget committee will decide at this meeting to re-approve the budget or make changes as necessary. Agenda below.

Burn Information

  • There is NO burning allowed anywhere within Wasco County starting July 1, 2017 until fire season ends.
  • When burning resumes in the fall (date to be determined), permits are always required to burn, regardless of your location within the Fire District.
  • Burn barrels are no longer allowed inside the city limits.
